Christmas Holiday Closure Dates

ManchesterTKD will close for Christmas and New Year over the festive period.

The Last training date is Thursday 18th of December 2008 the School will re-open Tuesday the 6th of January 2009 at the normal time of 1830 hrs.

Unfortunately on the 6th of January the College has informed us that there will be an Open Evening for prospective new students of the college, therefore car parking at the college may be problematic so please leave plenty of time.

The Instructors and Black belts would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all students on there success this year including Gradings / Promotions and International, National & Local tournaments.

Extra School Closure - Thursday 4th December

Unfortunately due to the recent weather and the forecasted weather for Thursday the school will be closed tomorrow (Thursday).

We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused but if the weather is a repeat of Tuesday there may have been a chance of no instructors being able to make it to class in time.

The school should be open as usual next Tuesday - 9th December.

School Closure Dates

Unfortunately due to a Student Open evening at Holy Cross College the school regretably will be closed for two lessons.

Thursday the 27th of November & Tuesday the 2nd of December 2008.

Normal lessons will resume on Thursday the 4th of December 2008.

Colour Belt Master Seminar & Grading News

The next Colour belt Master's Seminar & Grading will be held on Saturday the 15th of November 2008 at Bolton Excel Centre.

The Master's Seminar and Grading will be conducted by Senior Master P.Cutler VIII Degree.

It is a requirement by the UKTA that all Colour belt students attend 2 Master's Seminars per year in order to qualify for Gradings/Promotions.

Those students that wish to attend the Master's Seminar or Grade/Promote need to inform Mr W.P. Rose V Degree as soon as possible.

UK OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS 2008

On Saturday the 1st of November at Fenton Manor Leisure Centre, Stoke-on-Trent, the UK Open Championships was held and once again ManchesterTKD have a fantastic medal haul!

This Championships was well attend as usual by the Welsh, Scottish, Irish & English.
