Inter-School Invite Only Championships

ManchesterTKD are hosting an Inter-School Invite Only Championships.

This event has been hosted once before. unfortunately, some 10 years ago.

The championships was named after the late Peter Buckley who tragically passed away.

Peter was a student of the fishpool school and achieved 1st Degree under Mr Rose.

The championships will be named the 'Peter Buckley Memorial' with a donation being made to the British Heart Foundation.

Welsh Open UKTA Championships

The Instructors of ManchesterTKD wish all the students that have entered the Welsh Open on Saturday the 2nd of June in Cardiff Good Luck!

Colour Belt Grading News

On Sunday the 13th of May students of ManchesterTKD traveled to the Wirral, Cheshire to undertake a Seminar and Grading by Senior Master P.Cutler VIII Degree UKTA, first British Master to be promoted correctly under Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha IX Degree.

There was good attendance from all schools with in the Northern England area. The Seminar was 2 hours long and covered all aspects of the foundation of Tae Kwon-Do indepth.

The Grading proceeded the Seminar, Senior Master Cutler certainly put them through it especially the 5th to 2nd Kup grades.

Congratulations to those who attended the Seminar & Grading:

Neil Dudley promoted from 5th Kup Green Belt to 4th Kup Blue Belt

Cameron Dudley promoted from 8th Kup Yellow Belt to 7th Kup Yelow Belt

Calandra Rose promoted from 9th Kup White Belt to 8th Kup Yellow Belt
