The next North of England Colour Belt Seminar & Grading will be held in the Wirral , Cheshire hosted by Mrs Helen Bennett III Degree.
This will take place on Sunday the 13th of May 2007.
The attending Master will be Senior Master P. Cutler VIII Degree, who is the first British Tae Kwon- Do Master to be promoted through the correct procedure by First Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha OCM IX Degree.
Any students interested in either attending the Seminar or Grading please register your interest with Mr WP.Rose V Degree Chief Instructor.

NOTE: It is a UKTA requirement that all Colour belt Students attend a minimum of 2 Master Seminars per year to be eligible to grade.
The Welsh UKTA Open Championships are to be held in Cardiff Saturday the 2nd of June 2007.
Application Forms are available for download on the official UKTA website alternatively see Mr WP.Rose V Degree Chief Instructor who also has the forms.

The Scottish Open also held a special International Blackbelt Team event this year as it is the UKTA's 40th Anniversary year. The teams which took part where ITF Slovenia (World Championships hosts, April 2007) ITF Scotland & a UKTA Select Team which consisted of World & European Medalists.
UKTA Select Team: Wayne Brooks (Wales,Captain), Richard Taylor (Wales), Tom (Wales), Gary Bonnar (England), Johnnie Chan Fook Tin (England, Huddersfieldtkd) & Felix Lopez (England, ManchesterTKD).
The UKTA Select Team came in Bronze Position although in Sparring they Beat Gold Medal Position ITF Slovenia & Drew against ITF Scotland. Unfortunately, the lack of pattern preparation was what let the Team down. Although they did well with less than an hours practice.
ManchesterTKD students would also like to thank Mr Stephen Hartley Ist Degree for providing Coaching throughout the Championships.
